The Railway Forum Napoli 2025, was held at the historic National Railway Museum Pietrarsa in the vibrant city of Naples was held from 6-7 November 2025 and was jointly organized by UEEIV and CIFI.
The conference focused on Slab track, gathering railway professionals, researchers, and industry experts for two days dedicated to the latest developments in slab track systems.
The technical programme explored a wide range of slab track topics — from noise and vibration mitigation to transition zone behaviour, urban rail applications, life-cycle considerations, and strategies for maintenance and renewal during limited possession windows. The event provided a clear view of where slab track technology is heading and how it continues to shape modern rail infrastructure.
Alongside the technical sessions, participants also appreciated the warm and collaborative atmosphere. Many highlighted how easy and enjoyable it was to exchange experiences, reconnect with colleagues, and meet new contacts in such a unique historical setting.
