Improving Asset Reliability and Asset Life

The presentation will introduce Interflon’s lubrication-coatings technology, followed by the client’s journey using the technology in all aspects of the switch design and its reliability, performance and MTBF mean time between failure data improvements. It will also discuss best practices for using Interflon products in railway maintenance.

Switch point rollers – more that rolling instead of sliding

Modern rolling devices not only ensure a low-friction switching movement of the switch tongue, they also offer other advantages for the “Complete system turnout”.

The presentation gives a general overview of the switch-point roller topic in turnouts, the different designs and the current state of technology.
