The Conference on Transport Sciences was established by the Depatment of Transport of the University of Győr to facilitate the cooperation between professionals and disseminate research results in the field of transport. The first conference was held in 2011. After early success, from 2014 we extended the scope of the conference with the help of the Hungarian Scientific Association for Transport.

To reach a broader scientific community in 2016 we have started an English section. The ever growing number of foreign participants gave us the confidence to rename ourselves International Conference on Transport Sciences in 2019.
