Technical Excursion HSL Milan – Venice on 17th April 2026 (Section Verona – Padua)
Dear Colleagues,
Together with the VDEI (German Railway Engineers Association), we are pleased to invite you to a technical excursion to the construction site of the Milan – Venice High-Speed Line (HSL), specifically the Verona to Padua section, on April 17, 2026.
We have secured a highly interesting opportunity to visit the worksite.

Program on April 17, 2026 (Tentative):
The excursion will start from the hotel in Verona, travelling via a chartered bus to the railway construction headquarters:
- Approx. 08:45 AM: Arrival at the Railway Construction Headquarters in Verona.
- Morning: Project Presentation on the Milan – Venice HSL, followed by a visit to the first construction sites (LF 1).
- Lunch: Joint lunch in the canteen of the construction headquarters.
- Afternoon: Continuation of the site visits within the LF 1 section.
- Closing: Opportunity for a Q&A session regarding the project at the headquarters before returning to the hotel in Verona.
Language: The visit will be conducted in Italian and English. Colleagues will be available to assist with translation from Italian.
Important Organizational and Safety Notes:
- Safety Equipment: Wearing safety shoes is mandatory for the site inspection. We kindly ask you to bring your own.
- Travel: Arrival on April 16, 2026, and departure are to be organized individually by each participant.
- Hotel: The hotel in Verona will be centrally reserved and communicated to you in due time. We will meet there on April 16th around 6:00 PM and can have dinner together if desired.
- Post-Excursion Stay: Please indicate when registering whether you require an additional night at the hotel in Verona (from April 17 to April 18, 2026).

Recommended Extension:
Due to the attractive location, we recommend extending the excursion for a short vacation, for example in Verona or at Lake Garda.
