DESCRIPTION:Technical Excursion HSL Milan – Venice on 17th April 2026 (Section Verona – Padua)\nDear Colleagues\, \nTogether with the VDEI (German Railway Engineers Association)\, we are pleased to invite you to a technical excursion to the construction site of the Milan – Venice High-Speed Line (HSL)\, specifically the Verona to Padua section\, on April 17\, 2026. \nWe have secured a highly interesting opportunity to visit the worksite. \nKey Data and Registration: \n\n\n\nItem\nDetail\n\n\n\n\nDate of Visit\nFriday\, April 17\, 2026\n\n\nMeeting Point (Day before)\nApril 16\, 2026\, approx. 6:00 PM at the hotel in Verona\n\n\nParticipant Limit\nStrictly limited to 20 people\n\n\nRegistration\nPossible immediately via email\n\n\nContact Person\nMr. Hans Otterbein\n\n\nRegistration Email\nHans.Otterbein@vdei.de\n\n\n\n  \nShould we receive more than 20 registrations\, we will endeavor to organize a second date. \nProgram on April 17\, 2026 (Tentative): \nThe excursion will start from the hotel in Verona\, travelling via a chartered bus to the railway construction headquarters: \n\nApprox. 08:45 AM: Arrival at the Railway Construction Headquarters in Verona.\nMorning: Project Presentation on the Milan – Venice HSL\, followed by a visit to the first construction sites (LF 1).\nLunch: Joint lunch in the canteen of the construction headquarters.\nAfternoon: Continuation of the site visits within the LF 1 section.\nClosing: Opportunity for a Q&A session regarding the project at the headquarters before returning to the hotel in Verona.\n\nLanguage: The visit will be conducted in Italian and English. Colleagues will be available to assist with translation from Italian. \nImportant Organizational and Safety Notes: \n\nSafety Equipment: Wearing safety shoes is mandatory for the site inspection. We kindly ask you to bring your own.\nTravel: Arrival on April 16\, 2026\, and departure are to be organized individually by each participant.\nHotel: The hotel in Verona will be centrally reserved and communicated to you in due time.
